Compassion Week
You’re invited to Compassion Week!
An opportunity at the end of the year for care, reflection, and practice. Compassion Week will offer daily valuable resources and activities to enhance self-compassion as well as compassion in the workplace. Download the Compassion Toolkit (available in November) as a resource to participate as a team or practice individually. Each day offers a unique experience to practice compassion where you need it the most.
- Day 1 Be a Good Friend to Yourself
In challenging circumstances, try treating yourself like a good friend and notice if a shift in perspective occurs.
- Day 2 Take a Self-Compassion Break
Learn how self-compassion breaks can offer a healing approach when attending to stressful situations. - Day 3 Compassion Storytelling for Teams
Think of a time you noticed compassion at work. Surface compassion stories during huddles, meetings, or retreats can help us observe that compassion is present and thriving in our lives.
- Day 4 Exploring Self Compassion Vs Team Compassion
Assess your individual capacity for team compassion. Compassionate action is often as simple as listening, skillfully inquiring about the experience, or being fully present to a colleague in difficult circumstances.
- Day 5 Compassionate Communication
Explore compassionate communication as an individual or a team depending on your feelings of trust and safety.
