YogaX 300hr YTT Info Session
The YogaX advanced Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) at Stanford Psychiatry is registered with Yoga Alliance and dedicated to training yoga teachers to bring yoga into healthcare settings. The program integrates yoga philosophy, yoga psychology, modern psychological research, evidence-based practices, neuroscience, and social science.
The YogaX YTT300 is based in a deeply scientific, as well culturally and historically appreciative curriculum that covers the breadth and depth of yoga history and psychology, anatomy and physiology, ethics and professional practice, and up-to-date teaching methodologies and pedagogy. It draws on traditional and modern yoga philosophy, ancient yoga psychologies, modern psychological research and principles, evidence-based practices, neuroscience, and social science. The curriculum is taught by well-versed teachers with many years of yoga teaching experience, qualified and experienced to teach yoga teachers and clinicians, and registered with Yoga Alliance. All teachers have advanced credentials as related to teaching yoga (i.e., a minimum of E-RYT500); all teachers are also experienced healthcare or mental healthcare providers with doctoral degrees.
