Laughter is the best medicine. What does this really mean? Research indicates that laughter lowers blood pressure and cholesterol, supports one’s immune system, and eases pain. We can laugh for health, laugh for fun, and laugh “just because.” Children laugh “just because” yet adults need a reason to laugh, and laughing “just because” easily disappears.
