Waste Sorting 101
Co-sponsored by the Office of Sustainability
Proper waste sorting is one of the simplest actions you can take to tackle climate change on a daily basis. In this free webinar, you will gain recycling tips and tricks and get your questions answered about what goes where at Stanford. You will also get a behind-the-scenes look at what happens to our materials after they leave campus – answering the question, “Do my recyclables actually get recycled?”
You will leave with new tools that demystify recycling and composting and gain a new sense of empowerment to reduce waste in your community. This class will focus on waste sorting on the Stanford University campus.
This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants. To receive incentive points, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire recording within one week.
