Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)

Alan Yeung, MD, will discuss Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) to treat aortic stenosis. This minimally invasive procedure spares patients from the traditional chest-opening approach of valve replacement. Dr. Yeung will talk about outcomes, particularly in the Asian population, where the incidence of damaged valves is on the rise due to increased life expectancy.
