Relaxing Into Sleep

Discover how the simple practice of mindfulness can transform your daily habits and set the stage for a peaceful night’s sleep. In this three-session online class, we will explore core aspects of wellness—restful sleep, stress reduction, consistent movement, and healthy eating—and how these foundational practices shape our days and influence the quality of our sleep at night.

You will learn how the nervous system responds to stress and how this can create a state of ongoing vigilance that interferes with rest. Through guided meditation, gentle movement, and practical tools, you will develop skills to restore balance and calm to both body and mind.

We will also review current guidelines for healthy sleep, and how to work with common causes of difficulty falling asleep and nighttime wakefulness. Class activities include goal setting, tracking sleep patterns, and assessing results to support meaningful, lasting change.

You will also experience mindful movement, gentle yoga, and guided meditation, and will have the opportunity to connect with your classmates in a small “sleep pod” for peer support between sessions.

This class will not be recorded.

Attendance requirement for incentive points – at least 80% of all 3 sessions.
