Preserving the Fall Apple Harvest

Apples are among the quintessential flavors of fall! Join us for this hands-on workshop on campus at the O’Donohue Stanford Educational Farm where we will explore ways to capture, enhance, and preserve the harvest.

We’ll do a mini-tasting to hone our abilities to assess what types of apples are suited to various applications, then we’ll learn key concepts, techniques, and recipes for preserving apples, and together we’ll make a big batch of apple pie filling so everyone can take home a jar.

This is an in-person class and will not be recorded. Attendance at the live session is required to receive incentive points.

Request disability accommodations and access info.
