Power Up with Lentils
Lentils are a true nutritional powerhouse—packed with plant-based protein and fiber to help regulate blood sugar and support healthy digestion. They’re rich in essential vitamins and minerals like iron, folate, and magnesium, which boost energy and promote overall well-being. Even better, lentils are a sustainability superstar: they require little water, enrich the soil, and have one of the lowest carbon footprints of any protein source. Yet only about 5–10% of Americans regularly eat lentils, often because they’re unfamiliar with how to cook them or don’t realize how quick, versatile, and delicious they can be.
Join us for an online cooking demonstration and discover just how satisfying lentils can be. You’ll learn simple techniques and flavorful recipes that make lentils shine, along with insights into their nutritional and environmental benefits. After class, you’ll receive a full set of recipes so you can easily recreate these nourishing, delectable dishes and make lentils a beloved staple in your kitchen.
This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants. To receive incentive points, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire recording within one week. Request disability accommodations and access info.
