This session will provide an overview of current social policies, state of children’s health, root causes for poor children’s health compared to our peers and potential solutions.

  • Explain recent threats to children’s health and health equity.
  • Become aware of the poor state of children’s health in the US compared to peer countries.
  • Explain the etiology of the current health status of children in the US and propose potential solutions.
