SPEAKER PROFILE
SESSION DESCRIPTION
This session will explore how digital health is transforming newborn brain care by enabling continuous multimodal monitoring, real-time clinical decision support, remote expertise, and data-driven approaches to neurocritical care. Drawing on experience implementing a digital neonatal network spanning more than 60 hospitals, the presentation will discuss how technologies such as aEEG/EEG, near-infrared spectroscopy, multimodal monitoring, telemedicine, cloud-based platforms, immersive technologies and artificial intelligence can be integrated into clinical workflows to improve early recognition of brain injury, standardize care, and expand access to specialized expertise. The session will also address the challenges of translating innovation into scalable, equitable, and clinically meaningful solutions across diverse healthcare settings.
EDUCATION GOALS
