Navigating Challenges at Work with Skill and Compassion

The workplace can be a stressful place, as employees juggle competing priorities, race to meet deadlines, and have difficult interactions with managers and co-workers. Although workplaces have traditionally emphasized productivity over all else, new research has recognized compassion to be an essential aspect of a productive work environment, leading to improved job satisfaction and work-related motivation.

In this two-part online class series, you will learn the common hurdles that people often face at work and how compassion can provide new tools and insight to help you navigate these challenges and improve your well-being. We will discuss typical workplace challenges such as difficult conversations, giving and receiving feedback, and navigating emotional triggers, both your own and those of others.

You will then be introduced to and practice compassionate skills that can help you overcome these difficulties, both at work and in your personal life. By bringing these compassionate skills into practice, you can reduce your stress, forge deeper connections, and improve your work/life balance.

Attendance requirement for incentive points – both sessions. This class will not be recorded.
