Move More, Sit Less

Research on the health effects of inactivity has linked prolonged sitting with a number of health concerns, from obesity and higher blood pressure to an overall greater risk of death from cardiovascular disease and cancer. The good news is that incorporating more movement of any kind into your day can have a profound impact in improving your health and reducing those risks.

In this interactive webinar, you’ll learn about the health benefits of being physically active, as well as some simple activities you can do to move more during your workday, whether at home or in the office. We will demonstrate simple stretches that can relieve tight muscles, short bursts of more brisk activity to raise your heart rate, and muscle strengthening moves that you can do outside of the gym. You’ll walk away with the motivation and tools you need to make small, achievable changes to bring more movement into your daily life.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and join in the action.

This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants. To receive incentive points, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire recording within one week.
