Mindful Tech Use
Smartphones are an integral part of our daily lives, offering convenience, connection, and entertainment. However, like anything in excess, too much screen time can have unintended consequences on our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
In this engaging lunchtime webinar, we will dive into the latest research on the effects of smartphone use and provide actionable tips to help you strike a healthier balance. You will learn about the connections between heavy smartphone use and mental health, including how excessive screen time can contribute to feelings of depression, anxiety, and social isolation. We’ll also explore the physical toll that smartphones can take on our bodies, from poor posture and neck pain to eyestrain and shallow breathing.
But it’s not all bad news! You’ll leave with practical strategies and tools you can incorporate into your daily routine to counteract these negative effects. From mindful phone use to posture-correcting techniques, you’ll discover simple yet powerful ways to promote better physical health, improve mental clarity, and foster a more balanced lifestyle. Join us for this eye-opening session and take the first step toward reclaiming your well-being in the digital age.
This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants. To receive incentive points, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire recording within one week.
