Living Well on Your Own

Living alone is a common experience, with approximately 38 million adults in the U.S.—and nearly 24% of Californians—living independently. Despite this, research and discussions around mental well-being for solo adults often focus on those 65 and older, which does not fully encompass the diverse population living on their own.

Join us for a dynamic noontime webinar designed to support your mental well-being while living independently. Whether you’re navigating solo living for the first time or have been on your own for years, this session offers practical, evidence-based tools you can start using right away. We’ll explore cognitive-behavioral strategies such as values clarification, reframing, journaling, and self-compassion—each tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of independent living.

Come ready to engage with new ideas through guiding questions and real-life case scenarios, where you’ll build a foundation for positive mental health and personal growth. This inclusive conversation is open to adults of all ages and encourages intergenerational sharing around a common life experience. Take the first step toward more fulfillment while living on your own.

This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants. To receive incentive points, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire recording within one week.
