Innovation & Health Equity Discussion Series: Scaling Innovations for Health Equity A conversation with Global Strategies

Developing, testing, and scaling innovations with partners in other countries can be extremely challenging but is essential for ensuring equitable health outcomes where they are needed most. Come and learn from the Global Strategies team members in the US, The Democratic Republic of Congo, and Uganda about their experience of developing the Noviguide. Global Strategies is a nonprofit that developed NoviGuide, a clinical decision support platform for converting paper medical guidelines into interactive mobile apps. The organization used the NoviGuide platform to create a comprehensive application for managing sick and small newborns in low- and middle-income countries. 

Today, the neonatal application is used at a pace of >125,000 assessments per year, making it one of the largest neonatal digital health programs globally. 

In their talk, the team will touch on the importance of diverse user testing, the importance and challenges of cross-country partnerships and their journey as a pediatric device innovation.
