In California, 16% of births are among Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) families, with significant disparities in quality of care for mothers and babies. Jochen Profit, MD, MPH, will discuss key drivers of inequitable care among AANHPI mothers and infants, health outcomes, and potential solutions.

Jochen Profit, MD, MPH, graduated University of Freiburg Medical School in Germany and completed his Neonatology, Public Health, and Health Services Research training at Harvard. Since 2013, he has been on faculty at Stanford and is currently Professor of Pediatrics, as well as Chief Quality Officer of the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative, a population-based network of 140 NICUs dedicated to quality excellence.
