Group Wellness Coaching Winter 2025


Are you eager to make lasting changes in an important area of your well-being?

Join a 5-week small group coaching series guided by Stanford wellness coaches. During these interactive sessions you can share experiences, gain inspiration, and learn from one another’s successes and challenges.

You’ll receive encouragement and support from your fellow participants and guidance from the coaches in uncovering your motivations and leveraging your strengths to sustain healthy behaviors in any area of well-being that is important to you. Topics will include, mindset and limiting beliefs, keys to behavior change, self-compassion, and boundary setting.

Instructors: Julie Anderson, MPH, Senior Manager of the Lifestyle Coaching Program, has a master’s degree in public health and is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She works with individuals and groups to overcome barriers to create sustained behavior change. She knows what it’s like to juggle work, marriage, parenting, and prioritizing wellness. She’s been with Stanford since 1991.

Maia Tamanakis is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and certified personal trainer who has been a wellness coach since 2006 and with Stanford since 2016. She brings a non-judgmental and holistic approach to behavior change using intuition, creativity, compassion, empathy, ease and humor to support others in transforming their lives. She is a nature lover and artist, who enjoys coaching in all areas of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
