Group Coaching: Cultivating Self-Compassion
Research shows that self-compassion is a powerful practice for reducing stress and improving overall well-being. Yet, many people struggle to integrate it into daily life.
In this three-session small group coaching series, you’ll learn foundational tools for building self-compassion, explore common obstacles that make it difficult, and receive support and accountability from a community of peers. Each session will include educational content, group discussions (both in the main room and small breakout groups), and experiential exercises to help you deepen your practice.
Because this is an interactive and supportive experience, all participants are required to complete a brief intake call with an instructor to ensure the program is a good fit for their goals and needs.
Instructor: Maia Tamanakis is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) and certified personal trainer who has been a wellness coach since 2006 and with Stanford since 2016. She brings a non-judgmental and holistic approach to behavior change using intuition, creativity, compassion, empathy, ease and humor to support others in transforming their lives. She is a nature lover and artist, who enjoys coaching in all areas of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
