FREE 10-Week Yoga Series for Health & Resilience
YogaX at Stanford Psychiatry invites you to join us in our upcoming integrated holistic yoga series to support health and resilience. This free 10-week series consists of 90-minute yoga sessions based on a therapeutic, evidence-based protocol developed by YogaX Director Christiane Brems.
Each session has a specific psychological focus, intention, commensurate physical practice, breathing focus, and meditation. The 10 sessions carefully build upon one another anatomically, physiologically, energetically, emotionally, and psychologically. The protocol is an excellent support for building resilience and equinimity and is designed to be accessible so that everyone, of all ages and abilities, can practice.
Sessions will take place weekly on Saturdays, January 25 to March 29, from 10:00 am – 11:30 am PT. Although this is intended as a 10-week series, students are welcome to join for any and all of the classes as their schedules allow, whether it be for a single practice or all ten.

If you are a healthcare, community health, or therapeutic yoga professional, this weekly 90-minute practice can be combined with an additional 90 minutes of weekly didactic instruction in the 30-hour course: Yoga for Health and Resilience: An Evidence-Based Practice Protocol for Yoga in Healthcare.
