March 18, 2026

Humans eat for many reasons above and beyond physiological hunger drives. Do you find yourself opening the refrigerator over and over, just to look? Or grabbing for a favorite snack after a hard day at work? How about eating to cope with stressful life events? Emotional eating is very common yet can derail health and lifestyle goals and lead to feelings of guilt, shame, and distress. This session will focus on ways to identify emotional eating and practical tips, tools, and strategies to regulate emotions without turning to food.
