Decoding the Updated Dietary Guidelines
Join us for a webinar to explore what the recently updated Dietary Guidelines for Americans say and why nutrition advice can feel so confusing.
You will learn how nutrition science is translated into public policy, where the evidence is strong, and where uncertainty remains. We’ll unpack why topics like protein, ultra-processed foods, and plant-based diets have become so polarized, and highlight the many surprising areas of agreement that support better long-term health.
We’ll also explore how ultra-processed foods are defined and why that can be challenging, along with what the evidence says about protein needs, fiber intake, and nutrient density across the lifespan.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what truly matters for building a balanced, sustainable dietary pattern, along with practical strategies to cut through nutrition noise and make informed, enjoyable food choices that support your health.
This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants.
To receive incentive points, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire recording within one week.
