In this Noontime Webinar, Debra Kaysen, Ph.D., discusses the effects of COVID-19 on the mental well-being of healthcare workers and presents strategies for coping.

 

About the speaker: Dr. Debra Kaysen is a clinical psychologist and professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. Her area of specialty in both research and clinical work focuses on the care of those who have experienced traumatic events and includes treatment of PTSD and comorbid disorders. Dr. Kaysen is a past president of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, and she is currently involved in helping develop and implement coping strategies for healthcare workers dealing with mental health concerns related to COVID-19.
