Cooking for Hormonal Wellness During Perimenopause
Are you or a loved one suffering from uncomfortable perimenopausal symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, and more? While no eating pattern can stop the natural decline of hormone levels as women age, recent studies show that what you eat can play a favorable role in managing symptoms.
Join us for a noontime webinar to learn how to shift into a delicious new way of cooking and eating for more balanced hormonal well-being. We will explore the latest research on the link between food, lifestyle practices, and hormonal well-being. You will also learn how a healthy diet can reduce the risk of diet-related chronic diseases like obesity, Type-2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, which can increase in women over 45.
We will then move into practical application through a cooking demonstration of several different recipes – from breakfast and snacks to dinner and dessert – to support the hormonal changes that you or a loved one may be experiencing. You will receive copies of these delicious and healthy recipes demonstrated in class that will be able to cook on your own later. Ingredient substitutions, including protein, plant-based and gluten-free swaps, will be suggested.
This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants. Attend the live session or listen to the recording within one week to receive incentive points.
