Comforting Winter Soups

When the days are short and the weather turns chilly, there’s nothing quite as soothing as a steaming bowl of homemade soup. Join us for an engaging virtual cooking demonstration where you’ll learn how to prepare a hearty vegetarian soup packed with flavor and nourishing, anti-inflammatory ingredients.

In this online demonstration, our instructor will guide you step-by-step through the creation of a comforting winter meal that supports your skin, mood, and brain health. You’ll also discover simple, evidence-based nutrition tips to bring more balance and vitality into your everyday cooking.

Along the way, the instructor will share clever substitutions and modifications to accommodate a variety of dietary needs and preferences—so you can easily adapt the recipes to your own kitchen.

By the end of class, you’ll have inspiration for several delicious soups that warm both body and spirit. A full set of recipes, ingredient lists, and equipment notes will be provided afterward so you can recreate these nourishing dishes at home anytime you crave a comforting bowl.

This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants. To receive incentive points, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire recording within one week. Request disability accommodations and access info.

Instructor: Lisa Roberts, MPhil, is a culinary archaeologist and chef. She teaches with Stanford Healthy Living, New York University, Canyon Ranch, lululemon, and many others. She holds degrees from Oxford University, Tufts University, and The French Culinary Institute.
