Celebrating Moments of Pause

In a hectic work environment, there is often little time to process our experiences and connect with others. This can be especially true for healthcare workers in the clinical setting who may work in fast-paced, high-acuity settings without a moment to pause or rest.

Join us for a special virtual workshop to carve out space in your busy life to pause for reflection and connection. The class will begin with an introduction and definition of contemplative practice and its historical role in healthcare. Then we will bring these practices to life by engaging in a few simple yet powerful contemplative practices, including mindful breathing, metta meditation, and narrative writing. You will also have the opportunity to share your experiences in a safe and supportive community.

Walk away with a renewed sense of purpose and a toolbox of evidence-based practices that you can use right away in your daily life. Although this class has a special focus on healthcare workers, the information and practices are valuable to everyone and all are welcome to attend!

This class will not be recorded. Attendance requirement for incentive points – at least 80% of the live session.
