Celebrating Human and Planetary Health | How is the Stanford community building a healthier future for people and the planet?
Join the Stanford Center for Human and Planetary Health on Tuesday, October 6 in an annual showcase bringing together people from across Stanford Medicine, the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, and the broader university community.
Discover the latest Stanford research, education, and action at the intersections of health and the environment. We’ll explore a range of topics, including climate and health, disease ecology, pollution, healthy and sustainable food systems, plastics and health, electrification for health, and much more – including remarks from the Deans of Medicine and Sustainability. We encourage everyone across Stanford and beyond who wants to get involved in our growing community to join, and will offer ways to engage with the Center for Human and Planetary Health.
The program will run from 3:30-5pm, with a reception with light refreshments to follow from 5-6pm. Come learn, build collaborations, find new opportunities, and celebrate human and planetary health with us!
