Caring for Family Members with Chronic or Serious Illnesses: Roles, Challenges, and Coping
Being a caregiver can be both a rewarding and stressful experience, Ranak Trivedi, PhD, will talk about the research around both aspects of caregiving specific to Asian cultures. She will address caregiving among Asians, which has often focused on caring for those with dementia and share data describing the South Asian experience in managing breast cancer. Dr. Trivedi will provide strategies to identify and manage stress.
