Ashtanga yoga will be taught in the Mysore style with an authorized Instructor by the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore India. Classes will have two different formats: Mysore style and led – in a Mysore Style class (Monday and Wednesday), the teacher works individually with each student to teach them to move through the series correctly, so they are able to practice independently. In the led class (Friday) students will be guided through the series of poses as a group. The led class will be part of the Cardinal group fitness schedule, and registration in Ashtanga Yoga grants you access to those classes on Friday. All skill levels are welcome. Participants should bring their own mats and any other items such as a towel and full water bottle.
