Aging Wisely – Long Term Care Goals and Strategies
This class is co-sponsored by the Stanford WorkLife Office.
Caring for ourselves and those we love as we age can bring about many questions about what to expect and hope for as time unfolds.
In this free webinar, we will provide guidance on forming long term care, health, legal, and financial goals for yourself or a care recipient, and how to build networks of support to meet your goals. We will discuss the spectrum of care, from non-skilled to skilled care, and the insurance and financial considerations for each type of care. We will provide resources to guide you as you begin planning, with checklists and legal explainers to support you along the way.
This webinar is part of the Aging Wisely class series, providing a compassionate environment to explore your questions and concerns and help you gain a holistic perspective on how to approach long-term care planning for yourself or a loved one. Through presentations and online discussions, you will learn strategies and tools to help you assess your specific long-term care needs and explore solutions to common questions related to care planning.
Whether you are a caregiver to others or interested in your own future care, you will have the opportunity to develop a customized long-term care roadmap supporting you to successfully plan for care, with the input, advice and support of an expert in gerontology.
This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants. To receive incentive points, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire recording within one week.
