Empower yourself to lead a healthier, happier life with tools gleaned from ancient yogic sciences. Yoga is a technology to bring the body and mind to the peak of their capabilities, allowing one to live life to its fullest. This engagement course is a series of six interactive online classes that provide you with simple yet powerful tools to enhance your health and experience a sense of harmony within yourself and the world around you.
The methods, derived from the world-renowned school of yoga – Isha Foundation – are non-religious and based on science. The interactive content includes balancing breathing techniques, guided meditations, invigorating yogic postures, and other insights from timeless yogic wisdom that can be applied in your daily life to improve sleep, nutrition, mental health, and overall well-being. The course objective is to equip you with a toolkit that can be easily practiced within 5-15 minutes and provide insights to help you make every aspect of life a stepping stone for wellness.
The practices are not physically demanding and do not require any previous exposure to yoga. A yoga mat is recommended but not required.
Instructor: Nirvikalpa Natarajan is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon from India, currently pursuing her MD at Stanford Medicine. She is interested in the science of wellness and the integration of treatment modalities that provide a proactive and preventative approach to health. She has been trained by Isha Foundation in facilitating yoga and meditation practices designed by Sadhguru, a world-renowned yogi and visionary.
