Our culture is obsessed with snacking and “snack foods” are ubiquitous in our food environment. While a well-placed and balanced snack can optimize nutrition, energy and weight, frequent snacking can drain our energy and focus, while contributing to our expanding waistlines and metabolic imbalances.
