Taize Prayer Service

October 04, 2021 | 5:30pm - 7:00pm

Especially in times of injustice and suffering, communal prayer can be a wellspring of hope. It centers us, encourages us to listen to God, and brings us together with all those who trust in God.  Taize is a beautiful traditional form of sung prayer, usually around a cross, that tends to include a repeated harmonized chant/refrain. You don't need to sing to participate' we invite you to bring a prayer book, a poem, a rosary, a friend, an instrument, or simply a desire to pray.

COVID PROTOCOL: All attendees will be required to fill out a brief Google contact tracing form upon arrival. Non-Stanford students will additionally be required to fill out a self-attestation form affirming that they are either vaccinated or have tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours of the service. All must be always masked inside the church and social distancing is encouraged.

This is event is part of We Are Stanford: A Festival of Reflection and Renewal through the Office for Religious and Spiritual Life.
