Stress and Decision Making
Employees are working under increasing amounts of stress. Research shows that stress can have a detrimental impact on our brain’s function, particularly at the prefrontal cortex level, the part of the brain responsible for reasoning, problem solving and impulse control. This can have a direct effect on our ability to make sound decisions while under stress.
In this interactive online class, you will learn about the link between stress and impaired decision making through a series of in-training games and experiments, covering three primary ways our brains may act when making decisions under stress. Each potential impairment is paired with a set of preventative strategies, providing you with tools you can put in place right away to improve your decision making while under stress, whether at work or in your personal life.
This class will not be recorded. Attendance at the live session is required to receive incentive points.
