Stay Independent and Free from Falls

September 30, 2021 | 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Free and open to the community

Falls are one of the leading causes of loss of independence in older adults, but research shows that many effective strategies to reduce falls are not widely practiced. With a focus on both seniors and their family members, Stanford primary care physician Randall Stafford, MD, PhD, and Ellen Corman, MRA, of Stanford's esteemed Farewell to Falls program will discuss risk factors and strategies to prevent falls.

Randall S. Stafford, MD, PhD, Professor of Medicine at the Stanford School of Medicine and the Director of the Program on Prevention Outcomes and Practices (PPOP)

Ellen Corman, MRA, Manager, Injury Prevention and Community Engagement, Trauma Service at Stanford Health Care
