Simple Hacks to Prevent Work-from-Home Pains
The human body was designed for mobility and adaptation, which is a stark contrast to our modern norm of static sitting and standing for prolonged hours. Research shows that habitual inactivity raises the risks for obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and more.
Join us to tap into simple hacks for combatting the negative effects of working on a computer all day. This online class provides a physical therapist’s approach to staying healthy and well while on computer meetings all day. You will learn about the proper postures to maintain while sitting and standing, cues on how to achieve these postures, and “sneaky exercises” you can perform while in meetings without anyone knowing you are exercising. All of this information will help you to reduce muscle strain, decrease joint compression and pain, and increase your overall well-being and health.
