October 28, 2021 | 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Free and open to the community

Having a physician who is familiar with the needs of the LGBTQ+ patient increases an individualâ??s trust and makes it easier to communicate candidly with their doctor. This talk will reflect the range of needs that are more easily discovered and addressed as a matter of course in a practice that specializes in LGBTQ+ care.

Speaker

Benjamin Laniakea, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in full-spectrum LGBTQ+ health. They are the Medical Director of Stanfordâ??s LGBTQ+ Clinical Program and have been the theme lead for the Sex, Gender, and Sexual Function curriculum at the Stanford School of Medicine.
