Managing Stress in the Real World
You’ve probably heard it all before: take time for yourself, strive for work-life balance, eat healthy meals, and so on. But all too often the chaos of daily life gets in the way of our best intentions for self-care, leaving us stressed out and overwhelmed.
It’s time to discover research-based stress-reduction strategies that actually work in the real word. In this online workshop, you’ll learn what the experts say about the proven benefits of exercise, sleep hygiene, mindset, and more. But more importantly, you will learn practical ways to weave these tools into your fast-paced, time-crunched, over-scheduled life.
By the end of the workshop, you will have at least three concrete mini-plans to build these evidence-based stress reducing techniques into your daily life, no matter how crazy that life may be.
Instructor: Marily Oppezzo, PhD, MS, RD, is a behavioral and learning scientist with a master’s in the fields of nutritional science and almost 20 years of experience in nutrition and exercise as an instructor, coach, and researcher. She received a PhD in education psychology at Stanford and did her post-doctoral training at the Stanford Prevention Research Center on health behavior change.
