Ready to Roll: How to Ride Safely and Confidently

October 21, 2020 | 12:00pm - 1:00pm | Zoom Webinar: Please use RSVP link to register

Join Stanford Transportation for a free, one-hour online workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 21 (12 – 1 p.m. PDT) that will cover the basics you need to ride safely and confidently, including: how to choose the right bike and gear; rules of the road; route planning; and how to protect your bike.

If you’re considering bicycling for the first time or are looking to brush up on your skills, we hope you’ll join!

The workshop is hosted by Ariadne Delon Scott, Stanford Transportation’s assistant director of active mobility and Anna Walters, events and communications manager with Bikes Make Life Better. Both are seasoned cyclists who love to share their riding tips and expertise!

Interested participants must register by using this online form.

Benefits-eligible university employees are able to earn a self-reported BeWell Berry for participating in the online workshop. A completed and signed validation form will be sent to participants who request a berry during the sign-up process. That form can then be uploaded into your BeWell account to receive credit.
