Foundations of Healing Touch Course 1, October 23 – 24

October 23, 2021 | 9:00am - 6:00pm

Healing Touch (HT) is a complementary, energy-based approach to health that uses heart-centered, gentle, non-invasive techniques to clear, balance, and align the energy system. The goal of HT is to restore balance in the energy system, placing the recipient in the position to self-heal. HT recipients report effects ranging from deep relaxation to a vivid sense of mind-body-spirit connection. Many people report significant relief from pain. HT is proving to be very effective as an integrative modality in the hospital environment and is used in several capacities at Stanford.

This virtual weekend class is open to anyone interested in learning more about energy work and healing. The purpose of the class is to enable the learners to be able to practice HT techniques and self-care from a holistic approach, along with exploring the theoretical concepts that underlie the work. There will be breaks and breakout sessions along with practice assignments during the day. This is the first class in the Healing Beyond Borders HTI Certification program and provides 18 continuing education contact hours for nurses.

Registration closes on October 8, 2021. Class size limited to 10.

The text Foundations and Practice of Healing Touch ($40) is required for the course and covers all levels of Healing Touch. You will need to purchase this textbook two weeks in advance of the class from HealingBeyondBorders.org to allow for delivery time.

Class details are subject to change.
