Stanford Wellness Fireside Chats

Stanford’s Health Improvement Program (HIP) is pleased to provide some perspective on what is good in the world. We encourage you to relax and join us for a free, fireside chat with well-known luminaries.

In this series, HIP will chat with Condoleezza Rice, the first woman and first African American to serve as provost of Stanford University. In 2001, Rice was appointed national security adviser by President George W. Bush, becoming the first African American woman (and woman) to hold the post, and went on to become the first black woman to serve as U.S. Secretary of State.
