Embracing Your Shadow: A Guide to Taming Human Darkness

March 22, 2019 | 7:30pm - 9:00pm | Nairobi Room, Graduate Community Center, 750 Escondido Road, Stanford, CA 94035

How well do you know yourself?

If you’re like most people, you probably have a decent idea about your own desires, values, beliefs, and opinions. You have a personal code that you choose to follow that dictates whether you are being a “good” person. If there is any one thing you can know in this universe, surely it is who you are.

But what if we are wrong? What if much of what we have come to believe about ourselves, our morality, and what drives us is not an accurate reflection of who we truly are?

In this talk, we will explore the unconscious mind – the place we bury our darkest desires. Understanding our own vulnerability can unlock a life of meaning.

7:30 pm – 8:30 pm – Talk on Embracing Your Shadow: A Guide to Taming Human Darkness
