SEED: THE UNTOLD STORY
(94 min) USA
Directors/Producers: Jon Betz, Taggart Siegel
The film reveals the harrowing and heartening drama of seeds. With ninety-four percent of our seed varieties extinct, the filmmakers follow passionate seed keepers protecting our 12,000-year-old food legacy. As biotech chemical companies control the majority of our seeds, farmers, scientists, lawyers, and indigenous seed keepers fight a David and Goliath battle to defend the future of our food. These reluctant heroes rekindle a lost connection to our most treasured resource and revive a culture connected to seeds.
If interested RSVP by Wednesday, August 4 (RSVP link will be activated one week before the event). Once registered, the password to view the film for free in advance and the Zoom invitation for the panel will be provided.
