Be Better Than Busy, July 13 – August 27, 2021

July 13, 2021 | 12:00pm - 2:00pm

Sometimes life feels like a bumper car contest. You strive to get ahead, but then run into obstacles that set you back and sap your energy. It can be hard to find opportunities or even take advantage of them when they are available. You feel as if  there has to be a better way.

This 3-session online engagement class will introduce you to straight-forward ways to pause, determine what you really want to do, and start living the calmer and fulfilling personal and professional life you want.

The class will feature practical, proven, and data-based information, time to think, conversations, stories, Q and A, and simple (not necessarily easy) take-away messages.  We’ll explore essential keys to shaping a sturdy plan to achieve your goals.  These include recalling your values in order to help shape your purpose and make good choices, setting and keeping boundaries, developing strategies to confront barriers, saying “yes” or “no” in the best ways, and boosting your energy.

Between meetings, you will be able to test and polish what you’ve learned, then share your challenges and successes with the group. Be prepared to participate actively in class activities and breakout rooms as you design a meaningful future.
